XBOX Live, Just got it Options

So I was sick this last week (like, really sick) and was pissed/depressed I couldn't go camping so to make myself feel better I went out and bought a 360.

I really liked Too Human...had a lot of fun with that and wasted more than my fair share of hours on it. It got initial bad reviews, but it's made it on to some of the "must have for christmas" lists from the various sites

Been playing Fallout 3...which you're almost guaranteed to like if you liked Oblivion. Same general gameplay in a new environment with new combat system and new leveling up skills/stats structure.

Left 4 Dead is great multiplayer. Zombie survival done right. None of that solving mysteries Resident Evil 4 bullsh*t, just straight up "OMG THERES OVER 9000 ZOMBIES TRYING TO KILL ME RUN SHOOT RUN SHOOT RUN SHOOT" survival. Nothing like hearing a grown man scream like a 3 year old over the mic when he gets snagged by a smoker and dragged off into a horde of zombies. Also one of the very few games that offers 4 player co-op.

Mercs 2 was fun, but don't be fooled by the co-op as you can't make progress on your own campaign in someone else's online game. Regardless, if you played Mercs 1, it's pretty much the same game with more to do, new types of challenges, better graphics and this time you can even blow up the trees and stuff. There are also sh*ttons more vehicles and airstrikes/weapons to use in this one compared to what was in mercs 2.

Gears of war (if you haven't even played it) is probably like $10 used and is worth a playthrough, was a great game. Gears of War 2 is also out and from what I hear is pretty good.

Those are just what I've been playing and have personal experience with. I'm sure other people will have additional recommendations for you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I was thinking about picking up Left 4 Dead for the PC but after playing the demo my comp couldn't handle it, lol. Some of the ones I was looking at getting were:

L4D
Fallout 3
Farcry 2
Dead Space
GoW
Too Human (from your recommendation)

I am probably going to start out with getting two games and working up from there.

At least, prior to L4D I was. I always had problems aiming in Halo and a few other games. However, L4D seems much easier to aim. That and a lot of the time I just keep the crosshair at head-height. Seems to work well in many situations but especially when faced with a horde.

In Fo3 I was running around at night and when some little f*cking bug started attacking me my crosshairs were all over the place trying to find that f*cker.

My beef with the console FPS aiming controls were that on the PSX, PS2, and XBOX the aiming thumb-stick wasn't responsive enough for me. From what I have played on the 360 it seems to have gotten a lot better.
